Regeneration gas consumption is the energy that the adsorption dryer must consume to maintain normal operation, and the regeneration energy can be all gas compression energy or external heating energy, but its energy carrier is all gas.
Generally speaking, all dryers are energy-consuming equipment, although compressed air users eventually have to pay the cost in the form of electricity, in fact, many users are more concerned about compressed air consumption. How much gas does the adsorption dryer need to consume during regeneration?
The air consumption of the adsorption dryer depends on the regeneration method, the adsorption dryer is divided into no heat regeneration adsorption dryer and micro heat regeneration adsorption dryer according to the regeneration method, the heat regeneration adsorption dryer needs to consume less than or equal to 5% of the regeneration gas volume, such as a 20 cubic meters per minute suction dryer, need to consume about 1 cubic meter of gas per minute; Micro heat regeneration adsorption dryer due to the use of internal heating method, so the need to consume much less regeneration gas than no heat, only need 2% of the regeneration gas volume, that is, a 40 cubic meters per minute adsorption dryer, need to consume about 0.8 cubic meters of gas per minute; although the regeneration gas volume of micro heat regeneration adsorption dryer is low, but because the machine is equipped with a heater, so to lose part of the electricity.
